General
These terms and conditions apply when you, as a consumer, place an order in the Kosmos Beauty Lab online store www.kosmosbeauty.com. The agreement between you and Kosmos Beauty Lab for the delivery of the products you have ordered will take effect when you receive the delivery confirmation.
In order to shop in the Kosmos Beauty Lab online store, you must be over 18 years of age and otherwise legally competent, ie you are not under guardianship. If you are under the age of 18, you must have a guardian’s permission to order from us.
We reserve the right to possible delivery delays and out of stock products, as well as possible technical defects, typographical or typographical errors. We reserve the right to change pricing errors before and after order processing.

Delivery and ordering
Delivery methods and current shipping fees are presented in the Delivery section of our website.

Deliveries within Finland are carried out via the selected carrier to pickup points or the delivery address. Kosmos reserves the right to change the delivery method if necessary due to logistical reasons, carrier availability, or circumstances beyond our control.

The estimated delivery time within Finland is 2–5 business days.

For international orders, the delivery method and shipping fee depend on the destination country. Kosmos reserves the right to select the delivery method for international shipments.

Partial deliveries
Kosmos does not offer partial deliveries. If one or more items in your order are unavailable, the available items will be shipped and the unavailable items will be refunded.

Order confirmation
After placing an order, the customer will receive an order confirmation by email. Once the order has been shipped, a separate shipping confirmation including a tracking number will be sent.

Unclaimed parcels
If an order is not collected within the storage period defined by the carrier, the parcel will be returned to the online store. Orders that are not collected will not be refunded.

Returns and Right of Withdrawalal
In accordance with the Finnish Consumer Protection Act, customers have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases. The right of return applies only to unused and resalable products in their original packaging.

Customers must always contact customer service before returning any items.

Return costs are determined in accordance with the Delivery and Return Policy.

Force majeure
Kosmos shall not be liable for delays or errors caused by force majeure or other circumstances beyond our control.

Complaints
Any transport damage, incorrect deliveries, or defective products must be reported to customer service within 14 days of receiving the product.

Allergic reaction
If you have had an allergic reaction to any of the products you have purchased from Kosmos Beauty Lab, you can contact our Customer Service. We never record information about your health or make recommendations regarding your health or allergic reactions. Please notice, we highly recommend that you carefully read the instructions and components of each product you purchase, before use. We also recommend that you test the product on a small area of your skin before use. 

Terms of payment
Secure payment
Checkout is a secure payment method for you. The service is maintained by Checkout Finland Oy (business ID 2196606-6) and Checkout Finland Oy is part of OP Financial Group.

The checkout payment service will forward your payment to us.

The online store acts as a marketer of products and services and as a supplier of products to the customer. The online store takes care of the statutory and other obligations related to the transaction. If you want to complain or return the product, you should contact the online store where the product was ordered directly.

Bank charges
You have payment buttons for all Finnish banks at your disposal. You can pay with the payment buttons of Aktia, Danske Bank, Handelsbanken, Nordea, Oma Säästöpankki, Osuuspankki, POP Bank, Säästöpankki, S-pank and Ålandsbanken. Your account statement shows Checkout Finland Oy as the payee, they forward your payment to the online merchant. From the online store, you will be directed directly to your own bank to make the payment securely.

Credit card payments
You can pay in the online store for Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Debit MasterCard. The online store uses international Verified by Visa, MasterCard SecureCode. Checkout will appear as the payee on the card invoice and will forward the payment card payment paid by the customer directly to us. Card payments are made securely using a secure payment form and payment card information is not stored in e-commerce systems.

Mobile payment methods
Mobile payment methods include MobilePay, Siirto, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. These services allow you to pay for online purchases by approving the payment within the respective application.

Payments made via Klarna and PayPal are subject to the terms and conditions of the respective service providers

Invoice and installment services
Invoice and installment services through Checkout are provided by OP, Collector, Jousto and AfterPay. Collector also offers invoice and installment options for corporate customers.

Please also read the more detailed terms for each finance company that you will see when you accept the payment. By accepting the payment, you are also accepting the terms of the finance company.

Prices
All our prices are in euros and include VAT. VAT is stated on the order confirmation / receipt.

Gift card
You can exchange the gift card only for store merchandise. If you return the gift card, you cannot receive cash, but you will receive a store credit for future purchases. The gift card is valid for 12 months.

Product information and pictures
Kosmos Beauty Lab strives to provide as accurate product information as possible. However, we recommend that you always carefully review the product information and list of ingredients on the packaging when you receive your delivery, especially if you are allergic or hypersensitive to any substance.
The packaging of our products may vary in appearance. In some cases, the images may be of a different size than we offer, and therefore the written information about the volume is always decisive. Please note that the color swatches of the products in the Kosmos Beauty Lab online store may vary depending on your monitor and your individual display settings.
If you are unsure about any product, please contact Customer Service.
Kosmos Beauty Lab or its licensors own all content on the kosmosbeauty.fi website. The information is protected under, among other things, intellectual property and market law legislation. This means that trademarks, trade names, product names, images and graphics, designs, layouts or information about products, services and other content may not be copied or used without the prior written consent of Kosmos Beauty Lab.

Best before date
Most of our products come with a label that looks like a jar with the lid open. The label reads either 6, 12, or 24 months. This indicates the shelf life of the product from the moment it is opened. Other products have exact date markings.
Please also note that shelf life is affected by how you store and use the product. For example, do not use your fingers but load when taking the skin cream from the jar, otherwise the bacteria will spread easily and the shelf life will be shortened. It is also not a good idea to store beauty products in too warm or direct sunlight.

Applicable law and disputes
In the event of a dispute, Kosmos Beauty Lab will comply with the decisions of the Finnish General Consumer Complaints Board. You can lodge a complaint through the EU Dispute Resolution online platform, which can be accessed at http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Finland, without prejudice to the provisions of the preceding paragraph.

Changing the terms of the transaction
Kosmos Beauty Lab reserves the right to change the terms of the Transaction. Changes to the terms of the transaction will be announced on the kosmosbeauty.fi website.
